The Explanations
This whole of net testament was included inside the Old Testament as the book of Isaiah. Here are the facts:
- The whole Bible has sixty-six (66) chapters, just as the book of Isaiah has sixty-six (66) chapters.
- The Old Testament has thirty-nine (39) chapters, just as the first part of Isaiah is thirty-nine (39) chapters teaching the same things in the Old Testament.
- The New Testament has thirty-nine (27) chapters, just as the second part of Isaiah has twenty-seven (27) chapters teaching the same things in the New Testament.
- Among the books of the Bible, it is only the book of Isaiah that gave details about the covenant (laws, times and festivals) of God and the Messiah.
Above All
You should know that the New Testament quoted so many portions of the Old Testament, and all the ministers of God in the New Testament were teaching and practicing the Old Testament (Laws, Times and Festivals of God). Even Jesus did exactly the same, as in the case of the rich man and Lazarus. And Still in the New Testament, even Abraham from his heavenly abode refers the modern world to the Old Testament saying,
“They have Moses and the prophets (the five books of Moses and the books of the prophets); let them hear them.' 30 And he said, 'No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.' 31 But he said to him, 'If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.'" Luke 16:29-31
Abraham did not say the world have New Testament to follow. By Jesus telling the facts of what actually happened in the spirit realm, He bears witness with Abraham that Old Testament is still relevant.
